Kimberlee is the CEO and founder of Empalingua, "where empathy meets tutoring". She is a professional linguist with three decades of experience in language services like ESL, Accent Reduction, Spanish, translation, interpreting, editing, and proofreading.
She is originally from Brigham City, Utah, but has lived in Latin America (Argentina and Mexico) for 25 years.

Colin C.
Originally from Sydney, Australia, he graduated as a primary school teacher in 1987, with a major in mathematics. Since then, his journey as an educator has taken him across continents and through many enriching experiences.
In 1992, he received his TESOL certificate and the next year began teaching English in Japan. He has worked in both classrooms and private tutoring, and for the past six years has been teaching English online to students from all over the world.
He brings a warm, relaxed teaching style, with a focus on connection, clear communication, and helping students feel confident. He especially enjoys supporting pronunciation and fluency in a natural, encouraging way. He believes that learning happens best when we feel safe, seen, and free to express ourselves. He has also trained and worked as a psychotherapist, which has deepened his ability to listen and respond with presence and care. He is passionate about creating a learning environment that is both supportive and inspiring.

Esteban grew up between Florida (USA) and Colombia. He is fully fluent in both English and Spanish and is well-traveled. He is happy to share his experiences of traveling around the world. He is TEFL certified and is studying to be an actor at the university.
Dylan W.
Dylan has lived in three countries so far. Born in Argentina but raised between the US and Mexico, he is culturally sensitive and prepared to offer Conversation lessons in English for ESL and Accent Reduction students. He is currently working on his TEFL certification and will be majoring in Psychology at the university.

He holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing a PhD in the same field. He also holds a TEFL certification.
Over the years, Theodore has taught learners across various age groups and professional sectors, employing creative, student-centered methods in both one-on-one and group learning environments. His dynamic teaching approach emphasizes clarity, engagement, and practical communication skills.
Beyond the classroom, Theodore is deeply committed to community development. He has led caregiver training programs and educational outreach initiatives through NGOs such as Hands 4Life.
